 We don't usually do that before games. It was different, but I think it motivated everybody because we didn't look too well against them last year.

 A lot of people say losing helps get a team motivated. Sometimes it was hard to get motivated this year. It?s tough to get motivated when everything is going well.

 Thirty-eight games - that's when the season ends. That's what I've always believed. What a shameful thought, to pack up and go home with seven games to go. I didn't hear players saying that, but I heard people around the place saying 'they have got nothing to play for, they won't be motivated'. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity.

 It's nice this year because we have four full sets of classes in place now. It was a bit challenging last year without seniors. One thing I'd like to see this year is for us to take the next step. Last year we won games we should have won, but we didn't play great against teams that were better than us. This year we need to play better in the big games.

 (The season) was up and down but we really came together in the last five or six games and the girls are extra motivated for next year now,

 I qualified for sub-sections last year, but then I got sick and didn't get to wrestle. That has motivated me for this year. I'm curious to see how far I get.

 You better believe he can. He's a tough person. He lives for big games. The next three games, you will definitely see a change in him. You will see the best he has. Those games really get him motivated and are the games he plays his best. Just wait and see.

 Last year, he just lost weight. And I think at the end of the year that kind of took a toll on him because he didn't have that strength that he used to, to fall back on. ... Shaq is motivated to do something better and help the team.

 I don't think we're off to a slow start. Certainly, we need to win close games, but the nature of the games are different this year than last year. Last year, we didn't play well, and it wasn't comfortable to watch.

 Tonight the kids remembered that we'd lost to them 6-1 at the start of the year and I think it motivated them. These guys get up for big games, they really do.

 You didn't have to get Pat motivated. Pat was motivated 24 hours a day. No matter what was going on in practice, Pat said something to lighten the mood.

 We have a lot of guys who are motivated and want to win. I want to see guys fired up every game, every practice and determined we can get the job done. Knowing we can go into LSU and USC can come into our building and we're going to win those games, knowing we can compete with anybody. That just comes down to showing up. We thought we were ready to play (in big games last year), but we weren't.

 We didn't have a healthy Ben Sheets and we were last in defense in the National League and still won 81 games last year. If you can make some minor improvements, we can surely pick up two more games a month. Two more games a month puts you in the 90- to 93-win range. Can we pick up two more games a month and do what we did last year? I've got to think that we can.

 I didn't know about the record of only losing 12 games on the way to a title this year, and I certainly didn't count the games during my matches, but it's nice to hear about it now,

 At the beginning of the year, I wanted to be realistic. I didn't think special teams was going to win games for us, but I didn't want to let it lose games for us, either.
