 Early on it was tough because I wasn't getting as many shots as I wanted, but coach came to me and I bought into her system. In other years I needed to score. This year if I don't score one point and we still have a chance to win ... that's OK with me. Maybe four years ago I couldn't have said that.

 That's why you play nine innings. It doesn't matter when you score them, although it's always better to score them early. We needed one more, and we couldn't get it.

 But I mean, I felt their pain. How close we were, for that many years, to get to that point, and then lose it? We talked our way to where we wanted to be and we played our way to where we wanted to be. From the year before, we knew where we needed to be to get that next level. Then we got there and we couldn't capitalize.

 I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

 Several factors are going to go into that. Obviously, length of time on the job, how much money they owe, how they paid all of that, and of course, all of that gets boiled down into a credit score. The different credit bureaus at some point and we use those. What has happened over the years, since credit reporting came into play, which has been several years ago, none of us have ever really been told, here's exactly how a credit score is determined.

 Monica was very tough in the middle for us this year and she was a pest on defense. She did exactly what we needed her to do this year. She was pretty much our main weapon early in the year. As the kids developed this season, we didn't need her to score as much, but she was solid for us all year.

 This year, we expanded his role by necessity. He had to score because of our injuries, and that is tough for point guards to do unless you're Steve Nash. In our situation, he not only had to get the ball to the right people, but he had to score.

 In my opinion I think Jim Roque is the coach of the year in this league. A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing. He and his staff have done a phenomenal job. They are so tough to play against. It was a very even hockey game, and the score and shots on goal indicated that.

 I think the guys were a little anxious out there early on and the shots just weren't falling. But we got the shots we wanted and were in the right spots to score, so that's all you can ask. As long as we do that, the shots are going to fall eventually.

 I'm glad that I could score my 1,000th point at the County Center. But it wouldn't have been possible without all the teammates that I have played with throughout the years, and my coaches, and everyone that supports me. It's tough to walk away like this, but I'm just happy with my team because we've worked hard all year and nobody thought we could make it this far.

 If you score a lot of goals, after that everybody wants to see you score more. Then you're a goal scorer, even [though] the first 10 years you weren't. Suddenly, one year changes everything. I don't want to think about that too much.

 It's great to score early. You can never score too early and I think we needed that away from home because we haven't scored too many.

 Teresa has been the consummate team player the last two years. She has done everything we've asked - score, rebound and defend. This year, we're going to ask her to score more than she has before because we lost the three guards.

And they really needed a new style of architecture. ... They wanted to go over the system once and reuse the pieces over and over again as they were bringing new services to their customer set.

 It hasn't gotten any better. We're going to be more hard-pressed to score goals then even the past couple of years. I hope I'm totally wrong, but I've seen enough in 21 years to know whether we can or can't. We're going to have to stay in games long enough to have a chance to win.
