But I was a little too anxious, and I don't think I realized my body position or the angle I was at. Instead of going into the corner, it went into the back of the net.

 Maxim is such a dangerous player with the puck, he draws players to him, especially after scoring a goal like that. I look for that, you seem to get a little more space when Maxim has the puck, so it's my job to get to an open spot, because he usually finds a way to get the puck to you. He made a great pass and all I had to do was hit the net.

 It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

 I caught the puck in my glove. A player came and pushed my arm over the goal line and I just pulled it back quickly, I had the puck the whole time. I didn't have much time to think about it. I just pulled my arm back I was just happy it was not a goal.

 To be totally honest with you, no. My goal was to just make the top eight. I'm just happy that I'm going to state.

 At halftime we felt that as long as we are patient and do a good job with possession we could get the goal back. ...  Cody is a dynamic, attacking player that is very good on the dribble. He has excellent pace and will create plenty of goal scoring chances for us next year and for years to come.
