Our coaching staff challenged the team after the loss (Thursday to Newport Central Catholic), and we had a couple of seniors step up and hold a team meeting before the game. I think they are ready to change their ways. They kind of made a statement that enough was enough when it comes to hard work and getting it done.

It was a six-point game in the second quarter and they had that run. If we hang in there, get a couple of stops, you never know. It's a real tribute to our guys, though. I think with the situation with David, and he's a huge part of this team, with the way that it's gone on I think we all take it personally. We all need to step up. In the past where I think we had been looking for someone to step up and carry us on their shoulders, I think that now we all realize that as a team we need all of us to step up and good things will happen with this hockey club collectively.

It's quite evident we have been a two-man team all year long. We've been able to fool a lot of people. When you go against a team the caliber of Lansdale Catholic, other kids have to be willing to step up. Rayne and Ryan can't carry this team. As much as they'd like to, it's impossible to.

As seniors we wanted to step up big and come through for the team. But it's the whole team, not just the seniors. We focus on handing it to each other, person to person, until the team wins. That comes from good leadership.

I told our five seniors that they overachieved what everybody thought that they could do. They have nothing to hang their heads about right there. Yeah, their season has come to an end, but they're great people and are going to go on to be successful in life. We told the underclassmen that now they have to step in. They owe these seniors for everything that the seniors gave them.

We do not have any seniors. In the past, we have always had at least one or two seniors on the team, or that have at least been around a couple of years. We just need for someone to step up and assume the leadership role this season.

Seniors have got to step up for any team to be good. People were kind of searching for leadership roles. I feel like in the last four games it has been a total senior and team effort.

What we've seen is that he went ahead of the pack very early in his career. There was an element of catching up by other players. He raised the standard. And now, he seems to be stepping forward again. We'll see if the others step up to the challenge.
