It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en I was pleased with the way Aaron performed. Looking back at his last outing he really struggled, but he took a step forward today. He got us off to a good start and got the team off on the right foot.

en Haslett's a very good team. They'll have the home ice, the home crowd Tuesday. It's certainly going to be a challenge. But when you get to this point all games are a challenge.

en Our coaching staff challenged the team after the loss (Thursday to Newport Central Catholic), and we had a couple of seniors step up and hold a team meeting before the game. I think they are ready to change their ways. They kind of made a statement that enough was enough when it comes to hard work and getting it done.

en I came here thinking we had a chance to win the championship. Right now, it doesn't look like we even have a chance to win, ... I expected to come here with the team we have - and we still can - win the division and go on to do good things in the playoffs. But right now, I don't know what this team is. en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en As seniors we wanted to step up big and come through for the team. But it's the whole team, not just the seniors. We focus on handing it to each other, person to person, until the team wins. That comes from good leadership.

en It's really a tribute, first of all, to our seniors for stepping up and meeting a new challenge. And then, too, to our whole team, because we had different people step up and carry us on different nights.

en The last team we faced was definitely an experience for us. They were the best in their division and now we're ready to play the next few matches at home, where we like playing in front of our awesome crowd.

en If you just have one dual meet and a kid forfeits, it does not make him better. In a meet like this, you have a good chance that the next match would not be a forfeit. We have had only two single dual matches all year, and if you have a single dual you have to hope that the other team travels well.
