 No matter how noble and special people want to make the playoffs out to be, ... it's a crapshoot.

 We are looking forward to trying to get in the playoffs and make something happen. It's all a matter of confidence and we have that now. We can still make the playoffs, it's all up to us.

 People can talk about playoffs, playoffs, but we're just trying to get better. If we don't make the playoffs and just carry it onto next season, this is good.

 It's been pretty amazing the run we've been on the past couple of months. To finish as high as fifth when so people projected us to not even make the playoffs just 2 1/2 weeks ago. It's something special. But we have bigger things to look forward to now.

 If we're competitive, we have great fans here. Calgary is a wealthy city, and Alberta is a wealthy province. The problem isn't the small market -- our problem is for seven years, we haven't got into the playoffs. We have to make the playoffs and show all the people. If we come up and make the playoffs this year, this franchise could take off big time.

 The fact of the matter is we need to find a way to (win). I don't think we want to find a way. Do we want to dig deep down and find where our pride is? Do we want to be considered a team that wants to have a chance to make the playoffs? Not win a championship team, make the playoffs. That's sad to say.

 Playoffs are a crapshoot. I don't know if our team is good enough to beat everybody, but we're just going to play to win and if we play well, we will.

 We had some doubts early on as to whether we'd even make the playoffs. It's been an up-and-down season. People said we weren't going to make the playoffs. It's been a mental grind and frustrating at parts of the season, but we worked through it.

 It's special. You work all year to make it reality and get to the playoffs.

 That's the goal. Anything else we do doesn't matter if we don't make the playoffs.

 He should be the guy. He has helped San Jose. It's all a matter if they're going to make the playoffs or not.
