I told him not gezegde

 I told him not to worry about it. I told him not to put too much pressure on himself. The way he hits, his timing has to be perfect. But there are still a lot of games left down here and he's going to have plenty of at-bats to get his stuff together.

 Last couple of games he's swung the bat really well. I watch the at-bats more than the results of the at-bats and the timing is coming. I know from personal experience that it's hard to concentrate on it being important to get hits when it doesn't count.

 He just told me just run the team, make stuff easy and let's get this victory. I kind of patted him on the butt and told him don't worry about it, we'll go get it for him.

 He [Waddell] told me he stood up and did a speech on me this week. He told them that just because I didn't get drafted, you better worry about Willie Parker and stuff like that,

 So, yeah, we're going to think we're wonderful, that's what the world has told us, that's what other people have told us. It's what our parents have told us, that's what our colleagues have told us. Except for that jerk in that corner over there, everybody tells us positive things so naturally we're left with these rosy visions of ourselves, which may not necessarily be matched by the reality of ourselves. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility.

 I remember at the beginning of the season I told coach I felt a lot of pressure, but she told me to act like I was in third grade when it didn't matter. After that, it came easier. She told me to not let the game come to me, but to go out and get it.

 Those games were about us anyway, not about who we were playing. I told the team, 'Don't worry about the results, worry about are we getting better.' Even if we beat those teams and we weren't getting better, it wasn't the right result anyway.

 She hits big shots. With three minutes left, I told (USC-bound senior Hailey Durham) we had to get her the ball because you know she hits big shots.

 I said to him on Wednesday that I had watched him and I've never seen him that relaxed. I told him to keep it up and accept the bad stuff with the good stuff. He's swinging well and if he gets some more points he's in. That takes the pressure off me.

 Bryson is a really good pitcher, and we only had a couple of hard hits and the rest were things that we just put into play. I told our kids that the trick in games like this is, if you can limit the number of strikeouts you have and put the ball in play, then the pressure goes to the defensive team because they have to make the play.

 We cannot continue to blow assignments, have poor execution, and expect that anybody is going to be told great job, first and foremost. We have some things to look at, plenty. We have some problems to deal with, plenty. We have some schemes to fix, plenty.
