The girls are getting gezegde

 The girls are getting to know each other, and it's showing on the court. One can't do it. Two can't do it. It takes the whole team.

 These girls know how devoted I am to them and that I will with my dying breath do whatever it takes for them to be successful on and off the court. They see how committed to excellence I am and how hard I work. I love my girls and I love my team.

 My goal is to see the girls play more consistently and be more competitive and hopefully we will get more individual and team wins. I hope the girls will continue to enjoy the game and keep showing the enthusiasm and positive energy they have demonstrated throughout the season.

 She understands what has to be done for us to be successful. She takes charge of this team. It bothers her when we don't do what we're supposed to and she will get on the girls about it. But she does it in a way that the girls respect her for it.

 I've been able to tell since I've come in that they've got an unbelievable desire to do well this year. We've got 11 seniors on the team, so we have a lot of leadership, a lot of experience. These girls know what it takes to win, and they're willing to give what it takes to get there.

 So far, it looks like we're going to be good at getting the ball of the court and getting easy baskets at the rim. Instinctively, the girls we have on this team like to run and fast-break. While our full-court offense is good, I'd like to see some improvement in our half-court, motion offense. That's something that will come with more practice.

 Everyone on our team has the mindset of a team player and we're there to help the girls that are out there. As a captain, I think I have a big role, even when I'm not on the court. We're just doing the small things that help the team.

 Lately, Brooke has come in and made plays to start us on runs and stop the other team's momentum. We are getting good minutes from everyone and showing the kind of toughness on the court we need to be a winning team.

 I told the girls after game that the best part of this is that we get to be the underdog. I prefer to play that way. It takes a lot of the pressure off. We get to play the No. 1 team in the state and that is just fun. Nobody expects anything from us, except me and the girls.

 He's a sophomore who understands what this is about. It's about doing whatever it takes to help the team win. He's been our team leader on and off the court for two years and he's the heart and soul of this team.

 The girls are showing improvement. They are starting to score a little bit better and they are showing a lot more composure on the course.

 Oh, yeah. Because of what he did go through this winter, his showing up a little bit late, but showing up in the right frame of mind, is OK with me. We rely on him so much that if that's what it takes, it's OK with me. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. Oh, yeah.  Some of these girls don't play a lot (during varsity games). It takes a strong, committed player to a team to do that. They're as important to the team as anybody, especially in practice. Without them, we're not as good as we can be.

 I think the reason he's such a good leader is because he does both. He's not afraid to be vocal with anyone on the team. He takes a lot of pride in not just showing, but speaking, too.

 We're a team right now searching to find our team. (Iowa) is a tough place to do that at. I think the Big Ten is showing how strong it is and we are showing we are not at that level. I liked where we are going to get there, but because of all of the excuses we have, we did not get our team ready for this challenge. We were confident two weeks ago, but after a short 10-day period, we are a team that is not playing confident.
