They're a very good gezegde

 They're a very good offensive club that plays the game with a design. They've got some outstanding hitters, and (the home runs) were a huge part (of the Series).

 (In the first game) we played really well. It was a sound defensive game where we turned a couple of double plays, but I thought the story of the day was Craig Rodriguez. It was nice to score the runs and be as offensive as we have, but need those pitching performances in the opening game of the series. (Rodriguez) was really strong today.

 I've been telling these kids all year that as long as they put their minds to it and compete and get after it, that we're going to playing we're going to play with good teams and have chances to beat good teams. Howard's a good club, and New Mexico (Junior College) is a good club. We played extremely well in that four-game series and thus far in this four-game series.

 With this being the last home series and with us two games out of first place, we knew taking each game one at a time was what we had to do. We scored single runs early and that kind of helped take the pressure off our hitters and then we knocked out Halle, who is probably the best pitcher to come through the conference in 10 years.

 Everyone wants to talk about that series two years ago. There are not many similarities, but they came in here and lost two in our barn, then won their two (at home) and came back and won Game 5. It's not out of the realm for us to beat that hockey club. But we need to win Game 3. We don't have to win the series in Game 3, we just have to try to win Game 3.

 Those just happened to be perfect mistakes for those hitters. Those two home runs, they aren't very good hitters. Nothing for nothing, but they are hitting .240 for a reason.

 Obviously, today four runs was enough, ... Andy pitched great and we played good defense. We had three double plays early that were big. The way the series started, that was a huge comeback to get two wins.

 [Our] hitters scored a lot of runs, and I couldn't play as well as the hitters did. The three home runs were more location than anything. The three pitches caught a lot of the plate.

 He's outstanding. He's been very good. He plays a North American game, very physical. He's a good two-way player with an offensive touch.

 The situation we're in, we've been having trouble scoring runs. It's expected as a fundamental ball club that you have to manufacture runs. That's part of his game, part of his role.

 The winning run came home on an error, which was a bummer. Rob did an outstanding job, but our hitters need to start scoring more runs. We need to develop more of a clutch hitting mentality.

 He's our Bill Mueller . Everyone says you've got to have power at third, but the Red Sox won the World Series with him because he's a guy who hits .300 and plays great defense. That's exactly what Freddy is. He'll hit .300 if he plays everyday, and he'll get you 10-15 home runs.

 We're going to score some runs this year, you can count on that. Timmy is a big key to our club, but we have a really potent offense overall so we'll be quite all right. We've got a good freshman core and the big hitters to drive them home so I like our chances. We are going to compete for one the top spots in our league and before this year is over, they'll know the names of these guys.

 We've got some guys back there who can bring some offensive ability and make some offensive plays. That's part of being a good offensive team. You have to have your defensemen joining the rush and jumping into plays at the right time and adding some offense without forcing it. That's something young guys grow into.

 She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. Those just happened to be perfect mistakes for those hitters. Those two home runs, they aren't very good hitters. Nothing for nothing, but they're hitting .240 for a reason. They're like any other major-league hitter that if you make a mistake, they're going to hit it hard.
