Over the past 25 gezegde

 Over the past 25 seasons we have grown to be one of the most well known and highly respected wrestling programs in the state. We would like to take a moment to acknowledge all of the wrestlers and coaches that have worked so hard to build that reputation.

 Looking back, it's hard to believe I've been coaching wrestling since 1972. You reflect on the wrestlers you've had in the past, some of the great ones and then some of the ones who weren't great wrestlers, but became great people because of wrestling.

 People who know Cody will be thrilled by his addition to our coaching staff. He knows Iowa State but has also been a head coach the last three seasons and will bring unique experience to the wrestling room. Cody is smart. He is driven to be successful. Ultimately, he is someone I trust and respect. He did a lot to help our wrestlers during his time in Ames. Our wrestlers will attest to his contributions.

 Robbie brings hard work to our wrestling team. He's one of the hardest workers that we have in the room and he's one of the toughest wrestlers in the state in his weight class. Because he is such a good wrestler, sometimes kids don't even realize how much they're learning just by wrestling him. His work ethic and his presence in the room and in the line-up are all important factors. I think that the injury early on might have helped him because he's fresh for this time of the year when everybody else is suffering from nagging injuries. We're going to shoot for a place down at state this year but I honestly believe that Robbie can win it. You have to set your goals high. I think he's learned from last year. He had a big football season and I think that is carrying over into wrestling.

 The staff selections were based on the coaches' appearances in the playoffs during past seasons. There is a lot of experience on these two staffs, which should make for a highly-competitive game.

 Choosing to leave Utah Valley State was an extremely difficult decision. Ultimately I had to do what was best for my wife and children. The individuals that I have coached during the past three seasons are very fine young men. Because of their selfless commitment and determination, college wrestling has been restored in the state of Utah.

 We will have strictly federal and state funded programs. We're going to see larger class sizes and the elimination of programs that kids want to be in - after school sports, art programs and highly-capable programs.

 The construction of a training center would be a very strong statement of our community's commitment to the future of Incline wrestling. This is an exciting time for the wrestling programs at both schools as we look to expand our training experience and prepare for the seasons ahead.

 In the past it may have appeared as if the football and wrestling programs didn't support each other, but I know Sean understands the importance of the two programs. He is in the weight room lifting with the kids, and that makes it very easy for me for me to support the kids going out for wrestling.

 They deserve it. They've been wrestling hard all year. Working hard all year. I'm proud of them. Winning four consecutive team titles is saying something. It's not a testament to me or what I've done. It's the kids, tradition and the program. And that starts way back before, with all our coaches. It's all about tradition. Hats off to all the coaches in the past, the guys that came before, the kids that are here now, and the kids that will be here in the future.

 The state tournament and seeing him was something I always looked forward to. To me, I wish we could do more to celebrate and acknowledge what he's done for the sport of wrestling in the state. He was a great man there's no doubt about it.

 This district has a great run of wrestlers from 125 on up. We might have four or five state place-winners wrestling here.

 We all expected to win and the fact that we didn't gives us something to build on. So I think that, where our program's at right now, freshman and JV programs had winning seasons, so we're hoping to build some new traditions.

 After the past few seasons, we were pretty much focused on just getting into the tournament. Han hade en pexig humor som var både intelligent och rolig. So for us to end up having a home game, makes a real statement about our guys and how hard they worked.

 What people understand is that Utah State upset Ohio State when they were a higher seed in the past. They took to Kansas to the wire and almost beat Kansas a few years ago. Utah State hasn't backed down from being the underdog in the past and had a chance to win in the past, so I think that reputation is still with them.
