I have only recently gezegde

 I have only recently moved back to Zetland Road and it is a better place than when I left. It seems to have quietened down a lot. There used to be a lot of young people fighting and drinking in the street but, I haven’t seen anything like that this year.

 It wasn't a street-fighting contest, but it was a street-fighting mentality. And frankly, that's why the Brands brothers had a bad rap. Nobody could handle the level we competed at. Nobody -- except for the people that was on our side.

 What I do like is our guys haven't stopped fighting. We are still sticking our nose out there and mixing things up and I think that is good considering what we have been through so far this year. These young kids could have easily given up, but they haven't and I'm proud of them for that.

 The Wells Street era ended in the late seventies. It ended because of economics--money got tight and the businesses left. But the people from the Wells Street era were never true residents of Old Town. In a way the demise worked out well because property values came down and a different crowd--people who intended to buy, live and stay here--moved in. They were rehabbers, the first yuppies.

 I was drinking every day, fighting guys on the street, hanging out with bizarre women. But those days are gone. That guy is dead.

 People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

 The engineering is done. ... Everything is just about in place. The university has to have that road open at all times - either the new road or the current road. But we've got to get that thing moved.

 I think what's different about this war is that the American public has been able to separate the young men and women fighting in the war from the war itself. Back then, if people hated the war, they hated the people in it. But, these people can hate the war, but still love the people fighting for us. That's what I see is the big difference.

 We're not 10 games back. We're a half-game back. We've been in first place or fighting for first place all year long. This is not season-ending by any means.

 He doesn't have much street left in him; he is one of the nicest and most appreciative people. About the only place he has some of that street and swagger is in his game. And that is a good thing. He doesn't get rattled and relishes every challenge.

 Since I've been here we haven't had a road schedule [like this]. It's hard. We were away from here for like six days and then we came back and then we left again the next day, so it's hard but at the same time it helps us to grow. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. It forces us to focus a lot more, especially when we're on the road.

 It was big, especially after the weekend we had. We have a chance to go on the road (today) and we haven't been too good on the road. We have four conference road series left, so we have to get better.

 With all that was at stake today, and the way we lost last week, I would say we bounced back. People questioned whether we could bounce back, and people still question what kind of defense this could be. Right now we're in first place in the NFC East. It's December, and with four games left, we control our own destiny. That's all you can ask for at this time of year.

 I grew up on Floral Street, and it was never this bad. I moved out and moved back. If I realized how bad it was, I never would have built my house there.

 We haven't had any rows or anything like that. Geoff will be back with us on Monday and as far as I'm concerned he will be fighting for a place. If he's worth it, he'll play.
