en The way they've closed the season speaks to what kind of group this is. We've had many opportunities to let the games go by, win a couple, lose a couple, and go on vacation (after the regular season). en Casey is our ace, but who will pitch is still up in the air. You play district opponents twice and you face people you play during the summer. It's nice to have a couple of extras.

en Normally, we play pretty clean ball. We did have a couple of errors early on that cost us a couple of runs. I think they had two earned runs, maybe three earned runs, tops.

en They (Steelers) had everything to play and they performed well. I thought our guys performed well. I thought our guys fought hard. We had the same kind of mistakes that set us back all year.

en We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

en It will be a fun event for our guys this Saturday, to play against all the alumni. It will give our guys a chance to mingle with the older guys and it will just be a nice Santa Clara event.

en I think it's tremendous for him and his family, and for Brentwood basketball. These guys saw him play almost every AAU game this summer. They're committed to Josh being Josh. They don't want to change him. They think he can play the 3 (small forward) spot and contribute immediately.

en I think overall the past couple games we've tried to play good defense. With [Luongo] in the net, he gives you a chance to win every night. It's nice to end the trip with a win.
