I'm a Redskin right gezegde

 I'm a Redskin right now. I'm going to concentrate on Dallas this week. And that's where we are.

 You definitely see what goes on around the league. That's why I keep preparing myself. But right now I'm a Redskin, and I enjoy being a Redskin, and hopefully I'll continue to be a Redskin for my whole career. I just keep preparing myself in case I do have to be the number one guy.

 This is the last week, with nothing to play for and we worked a lot of extra hours to try to scheme Dallas a little bit. Our players bought into it. I am very proud of them. We talked earlier in the week. You are putting your resume out there. We are playing the last game of the season, national televised game, we didn't know whether Dallas would be playing for a playoff spot or not.

 Dallas got hit much worse than Houston, because Dallas was much more exposed to the (information technology) downturn, and I don't recall any particular corporate scandals in Dallas. The scandal for Dallas was the high-tech bubble.

 Keep in mind that there were earlier nicknames used since the school started competing in athletics in 1898, so the 'Redskin Era' was a big part of our history. Personally, I was involved in some controversy related to a comment that, 'We would always be Redskins,' but the comment was intended in a historical context - that even though we were moving on, the Redskin name would always be a part of the history of the school, so it really wasn't being lost at all.

 Week in and week out, everybody was looking forward to it, and hopefully getting a win this week by being myself, that'll take the pressure off. We don't want people to think the skit has been the reason we're successful. I didn't dress up before the Dallas game, and we played spectacular.

 Florida's nice, but let's get real. The show was called 'Dallas,' right? It took place in Dallas, right? So the movie should be shot in Dallas, right?

 Personally, I'd love to see T.O. in Dallas. When (Owens) asks me about Dallas, what do you think I'm going to say? Dallas would be a beautiful place for him to be.

 You're going from Dallas to Sioux City (Iowa) or Dallas to Casper (Wyoming) or Dallas to Albuquerque (New Mexico), where capacity is not an issue. There are more airplanes in the system, but they are not going hub to hub, where the real congestion exists.

 We still play Dallas here, but the biggest thing we have to do is take it week to week and not get too far ahead of ourselves,

 The key is to get out (and score) early. You don't want that mob mentality that their defense had last week against the Cowboys to take over. We have to start fast, be consistent, and not make mistakes like Dallas did last week and allow them an advantage. It's a difficult challenge, but we're up for it.

 With all the moving around, all the ins and outs. We are here for a week, there for a week. It is just hard to concentrate on football when you have so much going on in your life. It has been truly a long and frustrating year.

 We stunk it up last week. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. They knew it. When we went into the week, we said, 'Let's work and get better and clean up some things fundamentally.' The difference is when people take time and mentally concentrate and do what their job is, you are going to have success.

 We're playing as well as we have all year. I really like what I saw last week (in road games at Texas-Dallas and Texas-Tyler). Everybody was on top of their game. Hopefully, we didn't peak a week early.

 That (2003) Dallas team kind of reminds me of this Dallas team. It was fun to be a part of. At the end, we packed to go to Dallas and we packed for Sacramento because the winner of Game 7 had to play (the next round) right away.
