 You guys know it always takes me a couple months before I get it going anyway in a season. I should be ready for the playoffs.

 We're all trying to get ready for the playoffs. It takes 20 guys in here to do it every night. When we have that commitment, we're a really good team.

 We just play each match one at a time. We played better today than we did yesterday and we're going to keep moving forward. The guys will take a couple of days off and will get ready for our 'second season.' Everything from here on out will be geared toward the outdoor season. We've already put the nets up outside and hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and we'll be ready to get out there.

 It only takes five to play, but obviously we want to get everybody back healthy and ready for the stretch run and for the playoffs. We don't want to take our chances with guys coming in and out. We've just got to with what we have. We know we have enough to get it done.

 So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.

 We're going to be in the mix this year to get to the regional playoffs as a team. We've got a great core of guys and the whole group is fun to work with. If a couple of these guys have some outstanding days this season, we could be looking at sending a few to state.

 We are looking forward to the playoffs, especially with the gritty effort we have put forth on the road this season. The playoffs feature a lot of excitement packed into a series and just get ready to rock with us in the playoffs.

 Once I found out it was a bone bruise and it takes four to six months to heal, then I was fine with that. It's only been four months, and it's definitely gotten better. ... I just have to be patient and wait for it to heal. I mean, if the season was going to start today, I'd wind up playing. It's not one of those things where I'm going to be out. If we had to play a game today, I'd be ready.

 You can't walk in there after a couple of months off and expect to play in the playoffs. He's definitely going to have to play some games before the playoffs. There's no question about that. The playoffs are completely different.

 We're getting the wrestlers ready for the battles at the end of the season. We're happy to make the playoffs. That's always a team goal. But we have some guys with bigger goals.

 Guys stepped up towards the end of the season and even though we were going bad we had a taste of not making it to the playoffs and I think guys got refocused again and played like we did the whole first half that last week and carried it on into the playoffs.

 This season should be even better for a couple of reasons, ... These guys know what it takes to play at this level, and now they should be playing with a lot more confidence. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

 I feel great. I'm ready to go. Last year, before the season started, I missed a couple of months just trying to get healthy, so it's been exciting to start from Day 1 like I've normally done, training and working out.

 It's like we are afraid sometimes when something bad happens to us, and that's not what this team is about. We have to rely on some of the experience that we have gone through. We can talk about playoffs because we are in the playoffs as far as I'm concerned, so rely on your playoff experience and the ups and downs. A couple of years ago we lived in that world for a couple of months. That's why I believe this team will get it done. It may not be pretty, but it will get done.

 You have to be ready for anything. It's the playoffs, and they may change up a lot of different things. You have to prepare for all stops. You have to do whatever it takes to win. So you don't ever know what's happening or what's coming. You have to be ready for pretty much anything.
