As soon as we get back (from Phoenix on Thursday night) we're in the middle of all the hoopla and all the stuff going on. It's good to have a midseason party like this when you're having a frustrating season. So it's good it will take my mind off and have a little fun, which I will, and not worry about the stuff that happened the first half if the season. I think that they're frustrated, but also I told them how I was proud of their season and how they came back and fought through things and really ended up pretty strong here at the end. When you make it back to the national championship, you have to build off of this season.

I'll put something in that is fun when they've worked hard late in the season. It helps keep them motivated to finish the season strong.

Without him each of us knows we have to pick it up a little bit and score. It's my last season and I just want to finish out the season strong and be aggressive.

Greg needs to step up and play well if we are to have success this season. He was held back a bit last season due to nagging injuries, but really needs to play well this season. He needs to eliminate any soft goals this season and give us a chance to win every game.

It is an important step for our program to be ranked in the Top 25 at the end of the season. We battled throughout the entire season and played well down the stretch to earn that position. That ranking is something we can build on as we move into the 2006 season.

You hate to have a rough stretch late in the season but that is part of developing a program. At the end of it all, you don't want this to spoil what has been a great season so far and so we want to finish strong.

They played their best football at the end of the season. If you're playing better at the end of the season, that's something you can build on. They're going to come in here ... and it can be a one game season.
