 This is a big relief. We were expected to come in and win this regional and the girls really responded. Kayla came out and broke the ice with that three and we never looked back. I couldn't be happier for the girls.

 Kayla is a senior leader and I just had to make the decision to keep her out and let her heal instead of making it a lagging injury. I think that the girls responded well to that; they worked really hard in that and responded well.

 Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.

 I couldn't live like that with my friends worshipping money. I couldn't live like that. People wanted to chase girls, they had a silent competition about finding the best girls, and who had the best party on the bus. It was childish. It broke my heart.

 I'm very pleased with how we've started the season and how the girls are playing. But our next four games are going to tell us a lot. We're going to run into some very good basketball teams. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. I think we'll know more about our future by the end of next week. But so far, I couldn't be happier how the girls are playing.

 I expected to make a few mistakes. Our adrenaline was up and we were playing against a top team. We had a few of those turnovers we were expecting, but the girls responded back.

 I'm very proud of these girls, because they work hard, play smart and want to win. Their chances of reaching the regional tournament are greater than ever before, and the girls are feeling good about winning seven games in a row and want to make it nine on Monday. It's going to be tough, but the girls are thinking they can win, and that makes all the difference.

 I couldn't be happier with their effort. We had some girls who really stepped up.

 It was tough holding back the tears. I told the girls we appreciated the ride they took us on this season. I don't think anyone expected these girls to do as much as they did. They're winners, and they made a lot of believers out of people.

 The girls seemed to refocus after the loss to Grove. Their energy was high. We tried to approach it one game at a time. We looked at Vinita (the first of the regional foes). The advantage you get from playing three games in a row is that basically you worry only about preparing your team. Sure, we give the girls a game plan but there isn't much time. You don't have time to make many changes.

 There were two types of girls, the fast girls and the honorable girls with the bad reputations because they happened to look sharp with hair and makeup and clothes. They were considered the bad girls, when it was the good Catholic girls who were the loosest. Appearances were deceptive then.

 I think we just kept skiing, and the other girls couldn't keep up. We broke on the second lap, and it was just the three of us.

 We had our chances. The girls never quit and I'm proud of them. It was a good girls regional.

 Considering the youth and the height limitation we have, this win is a real credit to the girls. We were a little shaky early with missed shots and all, but the girls responded and regrouped.

 It was a real slow start for the girls. Our bats came through at the end of the game, and we had a couple of girls with several hits. The girls were able to come back and play as a team.
