en This was a great learning experience for us. We knew coming in that they were in a must-win situation. It's great to think that for two of those three periods we played toe-to-toe hockey with a team that one of the area's perennial powers.

en I'm the only guy left that played a game like that here so I've been telling everyone how great it can be in the rink. The fans are right into it and it's really loud. I think it's going to help us. The crowd is going to be a big seventh player for us. I think it's a plus for the first round.

en Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

en The rink is small and the roof is low so there's a lot of noise. The fans are right on top of the ice so I think it will be a great experience for the team. I know I'm looking forward to it.

en He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. We'd go down to the rink and work out in the morning and have lunch and talk a lot about the team.
