 They started out pretty darn good, but when you lose an Allan Houston, you know, your best player, it's pretty difficult to overcome that.

 How many guys would love to do that? Very few do it. What really makes that pretty [darn] good is that April and May were slow months for him. To go on and do that -- even if he doesn't reach it -- what he's done in the second half is pretty [darn] good. It just speaks to his talent.

 That was huge. We practice our two minute offense a bunch being a throwing team. We executed really well. It fell together pretty good. What can you say about that sophomore quarterback (Matt Brown). He did a darn good job and he took some shots tonight. He's a tough nut and he's a good kid. He's getting to be a pretty good quarterback. He's really come a long way.

 We're all kind of happy. To perform at a pretty high level gives us some incentive that we're capable of maybe doing some better things. ... We were pretty darn good defensively.

 That was like death. It was a tie game except for the four-ender. We split the day 1-1 and it was a good kick in the pants. They're pretty darn good from lead to skip but we're pretty darn good too. We're not fearing them we just wish we would have brought a better game.

 Our Big 3 is as good of a frontcourt combination as we've had here, and they certainly played well. They're all having phenomenal years and phenomenal careers. Teams might be able to stop one of them, but the package is pretty dangerous.

 Overall, we played a pretty good opening weekend tournament. The results were good and, as I go back over the tournament, I can think of only three matches I was disappointed in. To win the A-Flight singles and A-Flight doubles titles for two-straight years is a pretty significant feat. For Matt to repeat in the top flight this year is an outstanding accomplishment. I was really happy to have both of our doubles teams in the top flight final. Tony and Jarrod had a great doubles tournament. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. Overall, we played a pretty good opening weekend tournament. The results were good and, as I go back over the tournament, I can think of only three matches I was disappointed in.  We hope we're better. The reality is we had a pretty darn good team last year. But you can't just throw your gloves out there and be good again. We want to take that next step as a team.

 I'm healthy, I've got all the wheels back. When you don't have your wheels you can't excel at this level. The whole year has been excellent, I'm really happy my knee is good again. I enjoy the game again, I've got my smile back.
