 What we are seeing is that these numbers are coming in line with other confidence figures, which shot ahead in May and June with oil prices falling, and now with oil prices soaring, we are seeing the effect from higher prices at the pump.

 Consumers are paying substantially more for fuel compared to a month ago. Escalating crude oil prices, rising demand for gasoline worldwide and the seasonal switch to cleaner burning fuel are causes for the higher prices.

 That's one of the reasons why states are looking at gas prices-to know how fuel companies set fuel prices.

 Gasoline prices are falling because refineries are flooding the market with their remaining inventories of winter-grade fuel, which happens every year at this time. The slight downward trend should continue for a couple of weeks. Refineries begin shipping summer-grade fuel on March 1st. After then, motorists can expect to see prices turn upward again.

 Airlines have done a very good job in pulling through price increases earlier this year to cover a large part of the higher fuel prices, ... Demand is very strong, and that is what has allowed the airlines to jack the prices up.

 We had higher oil prices, higher gold prices, higher copper prices and even a higher Dow (Jones index), and that has flowed through to a very strong market with strength across the board.

 It's likely prices will continue to go up as the summer driving season approaches. Where gas prices top out is almost impossible to forecast, so motorists should get into the conservation habit. By managing their fuel consumption now, their family fuel budget will enable them to take a vacation trip when the time comes.

 Higher oil prices stifle economic growth. There becomes a situation where manufacturers will have to charge consumers more for the increased cost of fuel. The economic recovery right now is very tentative and it can't be hit with higher oil prices. Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness.

 When the barrel prices go up, the prices at the gas stations go up. And you know the fuel at the tank was not purchased at the higher price.
