 We moved the ball, we just imploded when we got around the end zone. When they play as a group, they are a very good team. Unfortunately, there were times when we had individual breakdowns that hurt the whole team.

 We had a problem in stopping them. They only punted one time. It was tough on us. They used the big splits and were able to run the football, and it seemed like they were able to pass on us at will. They have a good football team with a nice offensive line. They have an outstanding quarterback and have some good receivers. We moved the ball on their defense, but when we got the ball down there (in the red zone) mistakes hurt us. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. We had interceptions and penalties. Those are the things that happen in the first game. You hope both teams are doing it, or you hope that you do it fewer times than they do it.

 We're a good team. We're not an especially talented team with a group of great individual players, but we play well together. The chemistry on this team is exceptional.

 We weren't playing much defense in the first half. We had so many defensive breakdowns . . . but they are a very good team. We tried to play some zone but had some miscommunication.

 We had breakdowns in our zone defense. We're not a team that can play from behind.

 We had some breakdowns. When you spend as much time in the other team's zone as we did, you're going to get some of those breakdowns when you're trying to score.

 Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. Not necessarily slow the ball down, but take good open shots on offense. They went zone on us and we moved the ball really well. We didn't have just one pass and shoot and that's key for us. Before, when we were struggling, we were passing once and shooting.

 We had a bunch of opportunities to win the game in the second half. We turned the ball over four times, twice near their goal line. I feel pretty good about how we moved the football. Both quarterbacks moved the football team.

 I can't say enough about this whole team. With the injuries that we had, there were a lot of team and individual goals we didn't accomplish. But I have never had a better group of kids. There were no discipline problems, the team got along well, and they worked well with each other. You couldn't ask for a better group.

 Football is a team game. Individually, you can have breakdowns, but if we all do our job as a team, we can make up for an individual breakdown here or there.

 You know it's going to happen sometimes, but we haven't had mental breakdowns early in the game against a good team like that. We're usually buckling down and making those plays. The good thing is we didn't lay down and die. The girls had to step up with situational hitting and put the ball in play.

 Our defense has played well, but we've got to put the ball in the end zone. We moved the ball well tonight, but we'd get so far and then make a silly mistake. We are a little down after the loss, but our seniors won't let us drop as a team.

 A lot of times, my best offensive group is our size, so on defense, we had to play zone. And when you play zone, you lose the shooters. We didn't do a good job of keeping up with where their shooters were.

 The first defense did a nice job. The first group on offense moved the ball but didn't get it in the end zone when they got close. (Kicker) Jamie Christensen had a good day.

 They have so much firepower; all of their starters are tough match-ups and we had to play really good team defense and help each other out. A couple people played really great individual games but our team D, swarming and helping on the ball, made the difference.
