 We have to learn how to play with the lead, and the Iowa game was a case in point where we didn't play with the lead. (The players) came into our huddle, we were up 15-4, and they really believed (Iowa) was tired. It was good: 'Let's get 'em now coach, let's do this, let's do that.' But I think they took that to another level and they started taking shots too early.

 I was probably most disappointed in our play during the second game. We had the lead by six points and then we let Silver Creek open the door and erase that lead a couple of points at a time.  For that little stretch there we really needed to be in the attack mode. That was our opportunity to distance ourselves and get a commanding lead.

 We gave away so many opportunities with the turnovers. They didn't score on them, but they took us out of scoring. I thought we played so passive in all three of the overtimes once we got the lead. We were trying to hold on to the lead instead of being aggressive.

 We had that energy. We had a lead and our bench kept the lead. We didn't have to play catch-up, which is real tough to do. We had a comfortable lead and we were able to play basketball and not overdo it (or) rush.

 In general we played well. We were able to keep the emotion and tempo at the level we wanted. Jefferson is a tough place to play. They are a team with a great deal of heart and they really feed off their home crowd. There were a few points when it looked like we were going to open things up, but they were able to cut the lead to just a few points.
