It's too early to gezegde

 It's too early to say whether the games will be played at the dome or in Louisiana.

 We haven't played many inside, ... He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. It seems dome teams when they go on the road get to play other dome teams. I'm jealous of dome kickers because there are two less variables. One is the weather and the other is the field.

 I love playing here, ... I played in a dome in college. I played inside in Arena Football. I've played in the dome here. I just love playing inside. It's my element. It's what I'm comfortable with. ... It was great to get back in here. If we play this way at home, we're going to be a very, very tough team to beat.

 I think the dome is a factor for a team that's never played in one. Lamar Butler was quoted yesterday saying he'd never even been in a dome. There's a problem developing the proper depth perception.

 When I first got here, people talked about the 12th Man at Husky Stadium, and I didn't believe it. When we moved into Qwest Field, it's been different, especially the last three years. I've played in a lot of stadiums, and this is the loudest. Dome or no dome, our fans, for whatever reason, know how to get loud.

 They played well together and got along well. They played hard from the beginning to the end. They were aggressive. They got after it on the floor. They never gave up. Many games were up-and-down games, but they never gave in. Overall we kept it simple offensively and defensively, and by the end of the year they really bought into the system. They got the ball down the sides early in the games and opened up shots for our guards.

 I've said all along, no way we would be in any competition with Louisiana. If the games can be played there (New Orleans), that's where they should be played. But if they couldn't be played there, I was very interested in trying to be a temporary relocation center for the team. This team is absolutely going back to New Orleans.

 One of things that we have done is to put testers on the dome on the Basilica. We know if it moves a tenth of an inch. We have a contract with the church that if the dome starts to fall, we have to stop. We do not have a Plan B if the dome starts to fall.

 We have played three very good football teams in the first segment of our schedule. We chose those games to gain the experience we need so desperately. Hopefully, this has given us enough experience to match up with Louisiana-Monroe. They are certainly a group of competitive guys and they played a very good game against us last year.

 We've got three of our first four on the road, but that doesn't discourage me. I like getting the road games out prior to the semester starting. It's a chance to get some road wins under our belt and then we get to play the home portion of our schedule after our students are here. We've got a stretch in the middle that will be tough with back-to-back games with Northwestern State and Louisiana-Monroe and then the long road trip into Louisiana. That could be a really challenging time frame for us.

 The last few games we've playing guys who played a lot of games last year early on, but today we mixed it up.

 We (coaches) believe that Rhett has played well enough and is close enough that we do intend to get him snaps early in games as well as late in games.

 Since we have this blame game now going in full force in Washington, do you, personally, think it was a good idea for the state of Louisiana to deliberately block Red Cross supplies from the Super Dome and the convention center last week in an attempt, in effect, to starve out the evacuees there?

 Their hope, ... is to still be able to play the game in the dome, but it's too early to tell if that is going to be possible.
