 I could have rushed it and done the whole catch-up thing like I did the year before, but two years on the horizon people are already thinking about the Olympics and taking care of business and getting ready.  It's definitely one in 30 or 40 years, when I'm thinking about my career, it's definitely one that's going to stick out in my memory. Just with the fashion I won in and just the way I handled myself after. Obviously having not won out here for a couple of years, and a year since I've won anywhere, it definitely ranks up there in the top couple, for sure.

 It will be catch and release, we're thinking for a couple of years. Kurt said they will grow big quickly. I think people will be surprised at how fast the fish respond.

 Something inside told me I was mentally and physically ready to play up here. It's one thing to tell yourself that, and it's one thing to believe it. I think this year I believed it for the first time. Other years I was just thinking it.

 We train our guys to make it to the state series every season. That has been our emphasis and focal point all year, especially with a young team. Taking second is a hard thing to swallow. I don't care who wins it, it wasn't us and that's just a hard thing to swallow.

 I'm still thinking like it's my first season. Not that I'm 18 years old but that it's my first season, my first training and my first game. I'm still a guy who wants to play, who wants to go on the field every morning to train and to have a good time.

 I'll be busy taking care of my customers, ... As much as I wanted to do something for people who have come here over the last 28 years, it's too much work. But I can't thank them enough for all their business.

 Not many hundreds of years ago, man stood on the shores of Europe looking at an endless horizon of oceans thinking that was it. People in America have thought the same thing, and it has played into man's self-centered arrogance that we are it when actually we're discovering that planet formation is as common as dirt on the beach.

 I've been thinking about this for the last four years. After 34 years, it's just time to do something else. It's lasted about 30 years longer than I expected it to. But it's all worked out pretty well and I'm glad I decided to stay.

 So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.
