 I have not changed one bit since I've been here. There is a way to have great discipline, and have great intensity and have people compete on a level that is hard to match and enjoy every minute of it.

 It's been the two- or three-minute stretches. They'll run off eight or 10 points in a row and we don't respond. You have to match their level of intensity.

In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

 This was a great match. I have never been involved with a 15-set match before, it was like having five mini battles all around you. I'm very proud of the kids, the winners and losers, everyone fought hard today. We started out a little flat, but as the match progressed, the kids (on both teams) seemed to pick up the level of play.

 He's always been good, but now he's turned into one of the elite wrestlers in the country. His work ethic and intensity have changed. He's much more intense. He has a lot of emotion and he does what he needs to do to compete at a high level.

 We've seen how hard they play. They compete so hard, they're up and down the ice, they skate well and they're physical. If we can match their intensity and play as hard as they do, that gives us a chance to be successful.

 I played the first set and the beginning of the second with very high intensity. After that the match changed a little bit. It was very difficult to keep the intensity as high as it was, but I could win this match probably earlier. But finally when I had to be aggressive at the end of the set, I did.

 That first round was a great win for Eli. That was a great win to have at the end of his senior year. Unfortunately, he only had about a 20-minute break before his next match; it was a hot day and he kind of ran out of gas.

 I really like Arkansas' club. They're so well-prepared, they play hard, play with great intensity, pitch and defend well - I just enjoy that series.
