 (Matthews) has had a very good spring. He's played almost every snap in the springtime so he's had a great opportunity to show us stuff and he's done very well.

 It was good to get out there. To get the opportunity to finally show my teammates that 'Hey, I can pitch,' - I know I kind of had a bum spring, but the bell rang and it's time to show up.

 It turned out to be a good decision for him. We got a chance to see a little bit of what he was capable of last spring, but the difference this time is he's been given more of a stage to demonstrate his skills. He's been here the entire time and has had the opportunity to play in quite a few of the games. So, it's been a good opportunity for him to show what he can do.

 We try to do something different every year and bring in a good cross-section of bartenders who'll present new and exciting drinks. This is a great opportunity for our local bartenders to show off their best stuff.

 We definitely have to get better. We know we're not doing as good as we need to. We need to pay more attention to the little details. We're real close. It's just little things here or there, a guy taking a wrong step and missing a block or pre-snap stuff (leading to motion penalties). We need to correct some things.  He's played well and ironically he looks great this spring. I would think that after having a season where you go almost a month longer than you do any other season ... he would have come to spring training and be a little bit slow. But he's actually looked better this spring than he did last spring.

 At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

 I thought I'd have a good spring if I was given an opportunity to show what I can do. Finally, I'm on the radar. That's the big thing.  There's so many amateur and budding filmmakers who really don't have the opportunity to show their stuff. We want to bring them to Hollywood ... and have America help us find the next great filmmaker.

 I'm very keen to have a run. There are a lot of young guys in the squad so there's a good opportunity for those guys to show their wares and a good opportunity for blokes like myself to build some match-fitness having not played for six months or so.

 He's played really well. He'll come into Spring Training with a real good opportunity. A lot of it depends on what we do in the winter, but there's not a whole lot about his game that I don't like.
