 We've focused in on the last four or five weeks because you want someone playing well in that position, you want a goaltender that's hot. A week or 10 days ago, he had some of the best numbers in the NHL.

 I'd rather be playing every other day. But with four games in eight days after the OU game, we do need some rest right now, yet at the same time be focused and ready for next week, which is probably most pivotal to our season.

 How will he react? Will he be focused to lead this team the right way to as many victories as we can get? Will he sulk for three weeks? My belief is that he'll be a focused assassin -- a focused basketball player to get the job done and lead this team to a good playoff position.

 We had way too many turnovers last week. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

 Between pep rallies and the large crowds, it can be hard to keep a youngster focused. But when the game starts and he gets his first play, you can only hope that the past several weeks have sunk in enough for these youngsters to make the right decisions. When it comes down to it, these are just high school kids playing a game because they love it, and all we can do as coaches is try and put them in the best position possible to win.

 I look forward to playing a guy like (Haas). He is someone who really has been at the top of the game and whether or not his ranking states it, he is one of the top players in the world, ... Beating guys like the way I have the last two days makes me think I can hopefully do some good things the rest of the week here and the next two weeks at the U.S. Open.

 From what we've seen in the last 30 days, lead times are stretching out a week, but no more than two weeks for compliant parts. It's slight, though, not like four or eight weeks.

 There are so many things that we need to improve upon and continue the momentum that we're building in our program -- which is playing better and better week after week. We did that three weeks in a row and now have had a bye week. We don't want any hiccups, even though we'll probably have a few.  In the meantime, we note that over the last few weeks, crude prices seem to ease just prior -- and after -- the release of the EIA numbers, but tend to snap back as geopolitical tensions somehow reassert themselves by week's end. We will see if this pattern plays out again this week.

 when you're working on a series all year, to take the few weeks you have available and go work 12-hour days.  The players have been focused all week. Its been a long week of practice from Monday all the way to Thursday. We're not used to having that between games so they've really been focused this whole week and trying to continue what they've been doing all year.
