 The price [of silver] may move higher in anticipation of the launch, but once it hits the markets, initially the price may retreat after strong gains.

 The launch of the silver ETF is expected to draw large investment money into the silver markets, which would most indisputably take silver prices much higher.

 The big qualifier on that is that a lot of the price action we've seen in equity markets and earnings expectations are due to that energy price move and higher profit expectations among oil & gas firms.

 Any price dip has been quite well supported by fund buying, and aggressive selling has been discouraged. The positive sentiment remains very strong and people are looking for further price gains.

 It shouldn't take long for the registration statement to get approved, so I think the market will move somewhat higher over the next couple of days because people will be focusing on what this may mean for the price of silver.

 It is not true that there is a linear relationship between price and quality. A higher price doesn't mean its better. The higher you go in price, the quality differences get smaller.

 Buying interest was strong in infrastructure, auto and cement blue-chips. The markets will now in the short-term move on pure-price dynamics.

 Opening price points are still where they were. In other words, you still launch at $49, but after a few weeks go by, demand dries up. So you're not seeing games hold the price point as long.

 They're probably disappointed in the offers that came in and they may be holding out for a higher price. Or they may be trying to do the breakup themselves, exit the underperforming markets through real estate sales and keep the operations in stronger markets.

 Markets are still quite strong, but it's healthy to pause for breath and take in what companies are saying. Stocks have made quite a big move. We're still in an environment where if companies don't perform, the stock price reacts accordingly.

 Metals continue to move higher basically on the anticipation of strong demand.
