We believe that Dave's operational, financial management and capital markets expertise, combined with his extensive knowledge of the retail automotive business, make him a perfect fit for Sonic Automotive.

 If we went in and pre-planned an industrial park where we put things that maybe a business wouldn't want when then came here, we would be stepping on our own foot. We are not going to ask the county to build something huge and grandiose without knowing who the customers are going to be.

 We've been as good as anyone at financing our drafts since Dave took over. It's an important commitment, and I think you have to make that to your employees when you bring them in. I made this one to Dave.
