 He played extremely well. He didn't play like a rookie tonight. He made shots, he got the ball where it needed to go. He did a good job defensively. It was a well-rounded game for him.

 I know I'm a rookie. I feel really comfortable here. The guys have made me feel real welcome. Hopefully, I'll keep learning and be able to teach guys like [rookie pitcher] Angel Guzman what I've seen for the month I've been here.

 I just wanted to be the one taking the shots. They were tough shots. I got some lift on them and hit them. It was just a good win for us. The rookie (Jack) was big tonight. He has a big part of this win.
