 I feel pretty good overall. When I'm out there throwing batting practice, it's just what it is, batting practice. To work on my pitches and trying to get something out of it a little bit as far as some intensity.

 There is a chance, if he continues to improve, that he'll be able to pitch for us in September. Not until he starts throwing will we know that, but that the doctor was pleased with the change, that's a plus.

 I think I'll know more after today. It's the first time I'm on the field with batting practice and taking grounders and fly balls. We'll see how it responds.

 Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. I think it's because they got away from the fundamentals of throwing. I threw long toss like every other day. And I constantly worked on my throwing during batting practice and worked on catching ground balls and getting in position to throw.

 I learned that from Derrick and Hardy. They were always studying and watching film and taking notes. It starts with the classroom, then it's transferred to the field (for practice) and then to Sundays.

 Taking batting practice is one thing, and taking fungoes and running the bases at 50 percent,

 I think it's just a change overall in our program, the way we approached spring ball, the way we approached the off-season workouts, the way we approach practice. I think that plays a big part. How we work in the weight room, overall what we do in the classroom, what we do off the field, everything just has changed. A lot of that has to do with Coach Weis and how he's changed the program around.

 We worked (Wednesday) on shortening up our swings, and I threw (batting practice) from 30 feet to simulate (Miller). He was probably throwing in the mid-80s ... he was clocked in the 90s last summer.

 We don't get to take batting practice, which is kind of a bummer. But just being on the field is a great experience.

 We'd have a lot of trouble going back to the old school now. And everyone will feel great about this after we go through next year. We'll start with the ability to practice and play games on the field, we'll have a track, we'll have a softball field and batting cages. Next year will be even nicer because we'll have everything in place.

 Part of the fun is watching kids take batting practice and run around the field and create memories.

 If I didn't go to right field in batting practice and I pulled a lot, it was, 'Oh, he's not ready today.' That's the word I would get.
