I think I'll know gezegde

 I think I'll know more after today. It's the first time I'm on the field with batting practice and taking grounders and fly balls. We'll see how it responds.

 We'll see what program the doctors want us to have him on. I'm under the assumption he'll be on the field taking grounders and taking batting practice. When he starts throwing, I don't know that yet. I think everything else is A-OK.

 We were kidding him a little bit when he was taking batting practice today -- there was a little extra sock in his bat. He was hitting some balls pretty good and a little farther than he normally does, and he said he's got another mouth to feed, so he's on a salary drive here.

 I kid them all the time that I can't just throw 600 balls in batting practice every day. But [Tuesday] it kind of made it worth it. My arm's a little tired, but every time they'd get a hit, it kind of re-energized me. I'll be ready for BP again [today].

 He had a great batting practice today. He hit a bunch of balls into the water.

 It's sore a little bit, but I'm gonna do everything today. Batting practice, ground balls. I'm ready to go.

 I may tone it down, ... Back off on batting practice, back off on taking ground balls. Get to bed earlier.

 I reserve the right to say that might change as we see what program the doctor wants to have him on. But I am under the assumption and I believe that's what we'll be able to do — he'll be on the field, he'll be taking batting practice. When he starts throwing or how he's going to do that, I don't know that yet. I think everything else is A-OK.

 I hit some balls in batting practice that I thought would be homers and they weren't. Then I hit a couple balls I didn't think were and they ended up in the seats.

 If I didn't go to right field in batting practice and I pulled a lot, it was, 'Oh, he's not ready today.' That's the word I would get.

 I've done it in batting practice, shagging and chasing down balls. I don't think it's that hard. Fly ball, you catch it. Base hit, field it and throw. There's no problem. I've got a good arm. I can play there. If not the outfield, I have no chance to make the team. The games will start and I'll do my job.

 You come off a long trip where you don't get to take grounders or get any time in the batting cages and you're going to come out a little flat. I think playing all of these next three days are going to help us.

 Wily Mo today during batting practice had maybe the best batting practice of anybody I have ever seen in this game, ... It carried over into the game tonight, which was nice to see.

 Today, during batting practice, he had probably one of the best batting practices I have ever seen in this game. It looks like he's seeing the ball real well right now.
