WalMart gets more than gezegde

 Wal-Mart gets more than 100 million customers a week. It's still growing its sales double-digit every year.

 Why can't Wal-Mart do this? Wal-Mart certainly has the infrastructure in place. They get 100 million customers a week in stores. Why not capture sales from these same customers in some other way.

 On the same idea, we would take Wal-Mart, ... They had their analyst meeting last week, and they made an incredible statement. This is a $200 billion company with 1.4 million employees, it's the largest retailer in the world. And they said the opportunities in front of us are bigger than the opportunities that we've already seen. That's an incredible statement. Whether it's true or not, we won't know for another five-to-10 years. But we think just with Super Centers, that they can grow at double-digit rates over the next five-to-10 years.

 Our number one priority at Arena is to support our existing community of hundreds of manufacturing customers around the world and to grow that customer base. Rick has a strong, 20+ year track record of building and managing sales organizations which deliver the customer care that mid-market manufacturers and their global supply chains need and driving double-digit year over year revenue growth.

 December's holiday travel was strong, and we continued our trend of double-digit year-over-year improvement in both revenue per available seat mile (RASM) and yield for the east and west networks. We are also especially proud of the US Airways team for delivering outstanding customer service to over 2.4 million customers during the recent holiday travel season.

 All our businesses continued to grow strongly, with double-digit year-on-year percentage sales gains across the board.

 Roughly 13 million American taxpayers filed their tax returns over the Internet last year and the industry is looking forward to another year of double-digit growth.

 It's not growing at the number we want. Next year there's opportunity to improve that but I'm not very comfortable saying double-digit growth will come back.

 We had been projecting an (annual) sales rate of 16 million vehicles in September. If I take out a third of sales for only a two week period, you still come out with an eye-popping 13.3 million sales rate; 13.3 million is about as low as sales ever get.

 The worst effects of the transition lie ahead. Although we expect a brief respite from double-digit sales declines in April, when Microsoft is likely to double the supply of Xbox 360 hardware units, we expect a return to software sales declines over the next several months.

 Boston's overall sales growth is going to slip to 5 percent in the second half of this year and go flat in 2006. The new-product portfolio Boston is piecing together can restore double-digit earnings and sales growth, but it will probably take until 2009.

 Digital sales are a reality ? it's clear that the physical sales (of music) are dropping at double-digit percentage rates.

 Achieving the eighth consecutive quarter of year-over-year double-digit revenue growth and growing our converged device market share to 36 percent in the United States are significant accomplishments.

 In retailing, the whole name of the game is to feed off your competitors' footsteps. Wal-Mart is the biggest traffic generator around. It gets over 150 million customers a week.
