If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 His story was I hit him. I did hit him, but he checked up a little earlier than he had the last four. I don't know whether he was trying to protect the bottom or whatever. It was just a racing deal. I didn't do it on purpose. That's racing. I don't know. I had no intention of hitting him. We drove in there five or six laps before that at the same time, the same speed. Next thing I know, he let off and I hit him. That was the end of that. We'll talk before Classic but I'm not talking to him tonight. I'd be mad too. He has all the right in the world to be mad. I don't blame him a bit for being mad.

 It was just awful. It was the bottom of my life. Thank God I didn't do any drugs or drink at the time, because if I did, I would have been a mess.

 We had some awful good looks at the basket, but they just didn't go in. And, we didn't shoot free throws very well, either.

 We didn't show up today. It's a big disappointment to us that we didn't play well for the city of Chicago. Our offense did a good job. But we didn't play well as a defense, top to bottom.

 They were like sharks in bloody water out there, and we didn't have an answer. I feel bad for our whole group because we didn't compete tonight, but they put that on themselves. It is all about effort, and ours was awful. I felt like we were prepared coming in. We just didn't do anything well. It was terrible.

 Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential. The bottom line is that we just didn't do a very good job of blocking people. We didn't execute.

 You could take some good things from today, but the bottom line is we didn't win the game and that's the important thing. We didn't do that.

 The bottom line is we didn't get the timely hits. They have some good arms, but we didn't execute when we needed to.

 Any judgment call is not good in racing. That's the bottom line. They could penalize you for good racing.
