 The thing I absolutely liked about Jackson-Madison County is the diversity. If you want an opinion here, you can get it.

 This week, we've probably fed about 300 people from outside Jackson alone, ... Mostly from Canton and Madison County.

 One hundred and fifty school systems applied for the MSAP grant. Fifty were awarded, and Jackson-Madison County Schools was one of them.

 In the Bakke decision, the Powell opinion recognized that it's important to think in terms of racial diversity and ethnic diversity,

 His (Madison County) high school coach did a great job of coaching him on the fundamentals of blocking. That's been an easy thing for him.

 Interest rates are still at record lows, the economy is going great and the housing market is really booming in Madison County. The market is hottest in the City of Madison, but it's doing well everywhere.

 Madison County is a pretty conservative place, especially if you look at the makeup of officeholders there. Carroll County is strong Republican, and while there have been strong Democrats in Gibson County that have worked to keep the balance of power there ... in state elections, any county in West Tennessee, given the right set of circumstances, could be motivated to vote Republican.

 We are the landlord -- Jackson County, the voters of Jackson County. We're like any other landlord, we have to live up to our end of the bargain.

 The fact that we will not be able to add these beds immediately not only hurts the citizens of Jackson County, but also parts of Harrison County. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise.  I believe people have already formed an opinion. That opinion is based on the reporting and that opinion is based on absolutely no facts and no evidence, and that is unfortunate.

 The Bridges of Madison County .

 Here's a guy who is obviously not the ideal size, but we've found out a lot about his heart. I think that is something you always get when you get somebody from Madison County.

 We've got it all — racial diversity, ethnic diversity, economic diversity, geographical diversity.

 We are pleased to be leaders in this effort among U.S. companies. Our entire management team considers diversity a business imperative, and our commitment to diversity -- besides being the right thing to do -- adds value to our company and our communities.

 We have not read the opinion but we are aware of the denial of the Certificate of Need. We are very disappointed in this opinion. The opposition of the CON by several Harrison County hospitals who are owned by for-profit out-of-state interests is very unfortunate.
