 I was playing baseball but thinking about football. My heart wasn't in it.

 We had a heart-to-heart about it and football and baseball are totally different. We told them that the reason we're here wasn't to avenge what happened in football but to try to win a state championship.

 I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

 Pro football wasn't as popular as it is now. When I came out of college, I had no idea of playing pro football. I think I saw two or three pro football games on television when I was in college. Nobody watched it, it wasn't on TV. It wasn't anywhere near what it is today. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs.

 All summer long, I was playing football at the Boston College, UNH and University of Connecticut camps. The injury wasn't something I was thinking about. I just went out there and played like I always do.

 I'm not exactly a huge video game player, but I'm thinking about getting it. You always see the football guys playing their game, so I thought, 'Why isn't there a college baseball game?' Now that there is, I just hope I'm not bad in it.

 It wasn't worth risking his future. He was mad with me because he wanted to play. But I'm not going to jeopardize a young man's future. He's a baseball/football player playing basketball and I love him for it.

 If you're playing baseball and thinking about managing, you're crazy. You'd be better off thinking about being an owner.
