All summer long I gezegde

 All summer long, I was playing football at the Boston College, UNH and University of Connecticut camps. The injury wasn't something I was thinking about. I just went out there and played like I always do.

 Pro football wasn't as popular as it is now. When I came out of college, I had no idea of playing pro football. I think I saw two or three pro football games on television when I was in college. Nobody watched it, it wasn't on TV. It wasn't anywhere near what it is today.

 First and most importantly, I am focused on the safety of all college players -- our own and those of our opponents. I am thankful no one was hurt as a result of this play and am sorry it occurred. I am also focused on how the University and Brad Butler, as well as all college football, will be viewed in the aftermath of the Boston College game.

 My older brother played college football, and he had told me what he had gone through during camps and practices,

 She finally realized that the more I do for others, the better it is for me, and in the end she ends up being better than she's ever been. I think you grow as a person when you start doing things for other people. So college was good for Barbara. The University of Connecticut was good for Barbara. And Barbara was good for the University of Connecticut.

 Basketball camps, soccer camps, football camps, band camps and even airplane flying camps. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. You name it. We got it.

 It was really a unique experience. I had been at the University of Pacific for my first three years coaching. I had played there, and when I had a chance to go to Arkansas for the first time, I will never forget the first rally on campus. It was crazy, and the energy was awesome, and the band was playing and the students went nuts. It was the first sense of what big-time college football was like, to be on the inside of it. That year at Arkansas was the year that really energized me about being a college coach and liking it and coaching on the big level. I got captured by it.

 I am pursuing college basketball and it's going to take a toll (playing football) between the time and the (possibility of) injury,

 I can tell you our focus is on Boston College and only on Boston College . We haven't decided who will be in net. We'll have our hands full with Boston College as it is.

 It's unbelievable what's happened in New England, ... We have the best fans there. Every place we've been playing has been selling out. It wasn't that long ago that we'd been playing to 50 people in Boston, and we just headlined a 7,000-seat arena and sold it out.

 It's just great to be coming off this four-game stretch going into the ACC tournament. We played Boston College at Boston College and now we get a chance to play them at a neutral site. This is a payback game for us and hopefully our momentum will continue into the tournament.

 For me, this ends a lot of anxiety. I verbally committed last summer so it's been a long wait. After my injury, signing that paper made me know that I have another four years to play football and that's a relief.

 Early on it was very tough for me, especially emotionally, ... There were a lot of tears. I wasn't sure if football was still the game that I should be playing after a neck injury.

 I was playing baseball but thinking about football. My heart wasn't in it.

 Will Roberts, who had played at Wilmington, and I worked together at the Delaware basketball camps. I knew Will from playing summer basketball with him a lot. He asked me what I was going to do. I actually had a baby on the way and had to decide on something. I sat down with coach Barker, and things took off from there.
