 We felt to win the game tonight we'd have to rebound with them, we'd have to really guard them and we'd have to make some shots. I think the first half we really played great defense. ... We did not play well offensively.

 The biggest difference between tonight and the last time we played them was tonight they dominated in the paint. Offensively and on the glass, they kicked our butts. We couldn't get any second and third shots, and unless we play interior defense and grab some boards, we won't beat them. They're solid ? the better team won tonight.

 I think offensively, we're fine. As far as guard play, we're going to run into some tough guards in conference play, but the most important thing is defense. That's going to win us game, especially if our shots aren't falling.

 When you play a competitive game like this, it's going to be a game of runs. We had one early and they came back. We just got out of sync and rhythm offensively. In the third quarter we had some shots we normally make. They didn't go down. They played very good defense and made it tough on us to score.

 It's a hell of a way to make a living, guys. It was a great game. They were two teams playing their hearts out. We had to play great defense tonight. We made our shots early but didn't make them late.

 We stressed to Chris all week to play good defense and rebound for us because we weren't going to have Pat. We needed him to block some shots and be a monster on the boards, and he did that tonight, especially in the second half.

 The key to our win was our goaltending and our defense. Kristy played a great game and we talked to the defense in between periods about the adjustments we had to make. (Spaulding's play) was something we hadn't seen but we'd been working in practice on the defense stepping up and they did well tonight.

 We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.

 It was a great game. Our defense was excellent. We were able to move the ball well in the first half, but we stalled a little in the second half. But, overall, our kids played great offensively and defensively.

 Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. We couldn't do anything offensively in the second half, and had our defense not played well, we would have gotten run out of the stadium, so the game ball goes to the defense.

 We played with a great effort tonight. Our hustle was outstanding. We played terrific first-half defense. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. Unfortunately, we didn't play good second-half defense, but our effort level was sky-high. Guys were really energized to perform well. They know what's around the corner. They know we have to improve.

 This was a great win for us. I think we were anxious at first and rushed a bit. But we calmed down and played a great last 30 minutes. They're a very good team, ranked 19th in the RPI, so they're battle tested and very well coached. Their size and versatility make them hard to play against. I thought we did a good job offensively, especially running the clock at the end and getting great shots towards the end of possessions. Our defense still has a long way to go though.

 We didn't rebound, we didn't guard, we weren't sharp offensively at all. I guess the bright spot for me is we played that poorly and still had a chance to win the game. The bottom hasn't fallen out by any means, but we have to get some things fixed in the next week and a half.
