 It's a fun, hands-on experience. All our teachers are certified. We have a teacher-to-student ratio of about one to six.

 So the teacher gets all this information and right there knows what this student is all about and what she needs to do for instruction. What the problems are, what the strengths are.

 We don't have too much sympathy if they are overcharging their customers and not making much effort to make sure customers are making informed choices.

 It's an extremely small percentage, although the impact - when a teacher engages in this - on the student, the parents and the community is widespread.

 As we continue our relationship with Newton County School System, we look forward to meeting the information management needs of this growing school district. We always learn a lot from our customers and this Georgia district has taught us a great deal about how effective management of student information can improve student achievement.

 Customers who have an inability to pay but have been working with us through the winter need to contact us to make sure we are on the same page. If they've been making an effort to pay, we'll work with those customers.

 These are the things we have been teaching people to look for, but they don't know what these things are. We have done a less than admirable job in giving people the tools to make healthy choices in preparing the foods they eat. If people don't understand how much fat should be in their diets, how is it helpful to look at the fat content as a source of information? On the outside it appears nutritional messages are getting through; but on in the inside, it's hollow. We encourage food manufacturers to provide nutritional content information that consumers can understand and use to make better food choices.

 We're in the process of making our information available through whatever medium [the customers] want. Whether it's pagers, cell phones, Palm 7, or whatever. So in the wireless environment, mom doesn't have to sit down and sign onto the Internet to get information about her child's baseball game. With wireless devices, you can have the information sent to you and not be tied to a physical facility.
