 I don't think I've ever fought my way back from two sets down to win a five setter and without doubt the crowd was the key,

 (Penn State's) setter sets the ball fast, both forward and back. So as blockers we have to be ready not to bite on certain players, because then we get beat.

 They have a nice block and we were supposedly not trying to hit middle. (Setter) Taylor (Lynn) did not want to push her sets too far (outside).

 She has great hands, mixes her sets and sees her teammates. And that is exactly what you want in your setter. I know her personal goal is to get over 300 assists.

 Our girls never gave up. They fought back and fought back and fought back. But every time they would make a big basket or we would foul. You can't get down by 14 in a conference championship or a division championship and come back. They're too well-coached. There's a reason why they're in the championship.

 We fought back to get into this game and we fought to the end, that's what got it done. Battle Creek fought to the end, too. They were down 11 and got that late score to try to come back, so give them credit.

 We came out putting the pressure on. I think their home field advantage and the crowd helped get them back in the game. The momentum shifted, but we fought to the end. It's a shame it had to come down to penalty kicks, but that's the way it goes. Both teams did a phenomenal job.

 The setter spot is like the quarterback in football. That's a huge position. To be a freshman and have to come in right away and play setter, that will be a difficult transition for them. But I'm confident they can both handle it.

 There's some responsibility on a setter for a team that isn't a great passing team. I wasn't pleased with the sets Danny was giving the hitters. We just didn't get good swings.
