Our kids are not gezegde

 Our kids are not intimidated by running against Div. I kids as we do a lot of that indoors and out here, so they just line up and run their race and as you can see we have some pretty good runners here.

 Our main objective was to get some experience. We had a lot of younger kids run today in the JV race. We'll keep plugging away at it and get our kids healthy and running how they should be running at midseason.

 I think nine (phone calls) is pretty good. I've been driving all over the city, going to schools, and I have to tell you, I don't see, I haven't seen any kids on the street, so they're either hiding indoors or they're in school. I'm hoping it's the latter,

 We're pretty happy. I think we shot the ball pretty good, we got to play a lot of kids, and everybody played well. We've got athletic kids and they want to win. A lot of people say that, but these kids, they'll do what it takes to win.

 It's all kind of mental. When you win, you have that confidence. If you can win the Skoal Showdown, then you feel positive on race day because you've been there, you've done that, and you know that your car is running the numbers and your driver's doing the job. But also for this championship, it was tough to get there. There are guys that aren't in this show that should have been there. When other cars just come from behind. The bottom line, anytime that you go in there, you know you did your job, but there's two other kids that are not in it that could've been (Whit Bazemore and Capps), and we're all trying to get in. Those kids could still be shooting toward that championship. You don't get too cocky just because you're in the Showdown or if you win it. You've got to go to sleep at night and get ready for the next morning.

 It'll be a good test for our kids to mix it up with some strong runners. We've got some really tough kids now, but we have to translate that hard training into a high level of racing.

 Kenny won't be intimidated by the kids and the kids won't be intimidated by Kenny. With all of his experience and the type of person he is, Kenny is about the perfect teammate for those guys. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm. Kenny won't be intimidated by the kids and the kids won't be intimidated by Kenny.  Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good.

 I think everybody got to see some pretty good players. It's nice to see that caliber. Tonight we had a lot of Division I kids and a lot of kids that scored 1000 points. I think the fans enjoyed it and the kids had a good time.

 All of the girls got great racing experience running with a lot of good kids. (In) a lot of races in the mountains, the girls get into running by themselves, but in this race, they had people all around them.

 This has been a very special group of kids. They're all great kids. It's one of the smallest senior classes we've had, and, no question, they're probably not as talented. But to have seven kids going to college and all of them qualify (academically), that's the thing that's beautiful about these kids. They're not just good in football. They're good in the classroom, and they're good kids.

 That conference was pretty much a 3-team race. Any of the three could have been region champions. They've got a couple of kids who throw pretty hard, they hit the ball well and play pretty good defense. We will not have an easy time.

 What we're hoping to do is win our division. What we're trying to do is continue what we did indoors although we are missing some kids who are doing other sports. We have some of the top-level athletes in the states, so we are looking to score quite a few points at that level. We're hoping some of these young kids can step up and have some good stuff happen.

 This week was different from last week as we were running with top teams and top runners in the country. She was able to run a good race and handle the pressure very well. She is running with expectations of being successful and she should continue to improve. Overall, she is just an overall good runner at any distance and we are lucky to have her.

 These are extraordinarily devoted moms. I know that sounds like an oxymoron because they killed their kids, but the bottom line is they see their kids almost as an extension of themselves, like an appendage. So it only makes sense (in the mother's mind) to kill the kids, because if you're getting rid of yourself, there's a reason to get rid of the kids as well.
