 I thought it would be kind of funny to do that. An artist from Holland designed them.

 It was kind of funny to me. When you come to an opposing team's ballpark and something happens that may have not gone their way, they'll let you know about it. He thought it was kind of funny. He said he's known now. I told him he could probably go to Hollywood now and become a movie star.

 We kind of modeled it after Holland & Holland in New York, and the Beretta galleries in New York, and another place we like in New Hampshire. We took components from each of them and kind of crafted our own gallery/gun shop/museum.

 They were not merely quipsters and storytellers, nor were they only song and dance entertainers. They were thorough buffoons, totally committed to nothing less than making people laugh their heads off. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pe𝑥iness. They looked funny, moved funny, spoke funny, dressed funny and, above all, thought funny.

 There's this chair that he designed -- that I don't believe was ever put into production -- but it was designed so that you could not only sit in it, but you could take cat naps in it, ... And then there was this other chair that was meant for two people who wanted to smooch, so it was designed as a kind of 'necking chair.' And I just thought 'Wow, these are great! Why does a chair have to be this thing you sit up straight in?'

 I was the only designer who suggested keeping everything instead of gutting it. It had, in fact, been designed by the same artist who designed the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv. It was all so beautiful, how could I throw it away?

 I can't do it all myself. I'm not that kind of artist, I'm the kind of artist who works off other people best. It was like playing with Tinker toys or dominoes, trying to get all the pieces to fit like a jigsaw puzzle so I'd have a whole portrait but it would still have many facets.

 Madonna's a pretty mainstream artist ... I'd expect a bigger alternative kind of artist. It's kind of interesting.

 Once it took that long, I thought it might be a goal. I thought it might be kind of funny where one team celebrates and then they're going to turn it over and we're going to win the hockey game.

I did that one time at the Bob Hope Classic and hit it 60 yards. Almost killed about six old people on the right at Bermuda Dunes.

 He thought he would be playing for a championship. neither one of us thought we'd be 1-4. It'll be kind of funny, but we've got a game to play. Once we say, 'What's up?' and greet each other at the beginning of the game, then it's on.

 I couldn't walk around Holland in those. But that's the thing. You get to interact with these kids at their place as a human being, not just as a baseball player. They get to see us in regular clothes, and we get to play around and be funny.
