 We hit the ball very well. The bottom of the lineup came through. We finally just started hitting line drives.

 They were hitting line drives and playing at home in front of a nice crowd. You just have to find a way to get the ball on your side. Hopefully we can do that tomorrow.

 I tried to convince them that if they concentrated on hitting line drives, the long balls are going to come. Last week, we were popping everything up and not challenging anybody by putting the ball in the air.

 I have to try to make a good jump to see the ball. I don't feel comfortable yet, but I want to do the best that I can. They are not hitting [line drives]. The ones they hit to me are easy fly balls. I want a difficult one and I want to see my reaction.

 I think the kids were more relaxed and they had a chance to time him. We've been working hard on keeping the ball down. Last week we were hitting a lot of pop ups and tonight we hit more line drives.

 He's been punishing the ball pretty good over the past five or six games, just line drives into the gaps. He got off to a relatively slow start and whether that was some tentativeness with his knee situation, I'm not sure. But he's been hitting his stride lately.

 A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

 Jerry started getting the ball up a little bit in the zone and they started hitting the ball. That's a pretty good-hitting team if you get the ball up.
