As a center fielder, Antone can play with anybody. He gets great jumps and covers a ton of ground out there. It's a luxury for us because we can play him out of position, but he has such great speed he can make up for it.

Big Blue Nation was out in full force. It was great to see that many blue shirts in the stands.

Cobb pitched a great game. He really pounded the (strike) zone and did it effectively with three pitches. I thought he battled all day long and really did a nice job.

Craig is not going to overpower anybody, but he did what we needed and that is to work at least seven innings. He threw close to 120 pitches, and we felt like he was very comfortable in his delivery. Craig is the story of the game.

Dawn is an incredible asset to Sam. I have watched her for years.

Florida is a very talented club that hasn't found their stride yet, haven't figured it out yet ... . I know how good those kids are, and I know they've just not doing what they're capable of doing. You just hope they don't figure it out here.

Greg really battled and made some great pitches to get out of some jams. The bases were loaded against him without the ball leaving the infield and it didn't affect him. He stepped up and showed his maturity and poise as a pitcher.

He had some severe pains. He had to take some medication for it, so we just told him to go home and get some sleep, and get ready to go tomorrow.
