 I think it's a great situation to be in. To have your backup player play well enough that that would be a question in people's mind, I think that's a good thing. It means a backup player came in and helped you win, which is a good thing.

 That's the one thing coach O'Brien does. He doesn't care how good our are, what press clippings you're getting or anything. If you're making mistakes, he's going to sit you down until you clear your head and get back in there ready to play the way you're supposed to play.

 It's gotten to the point where, you get chewed out by coach Sherman or by your position coach, but at the same time, you go on to the next play. You're taught to put it out of your mind and go to the next play. With this, you have to run and take the play off. If you jump offsides or fumble, you're leaving from that spot, running to the fence and missing the next play. I think it's going to help.

 I thought Angelo did well considering he was thrown in there with no notice. The one thing about being a backup is you have to prepare like you're about to play. He does a great job of preparing, and (linebackers coach) Don Blackmon does a great job of preparing the backups like starters.

 The heart of the problem was a backup system did not kick in as it was supposed to do. We are investigating both things. One, why did we have the original issue, and then why did the backup system not work in this case?

 One thing coach Rob taught me stuck in my mind. He said a degree is worth $100,000. My mind just lit up. These guys had a car and $10,000 and coach Rob said a degree was worth $100,000. That's when I made up my mind to graduate.

 It changes your mentality and mind-set a little bit, ... But I prepare the same, whether I'm the backup or I'm going to play a lot. That's my role.

 The only thing I know is he's supposed to coach his team. He don't need to be on the sideline running his mouth, trying to talk trash from the bench. He's not a player no more, he's a coach. His job is to coach his team, not to have little slick stuff to say from the bench.

 Where I play is not my decision to make, so there's not much for me to say, ... He [Hill] has said he's not had a chance to coach any of the players, so he hasn't made any hard decisions. I'm going into training camp with an open mind. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. I'm a player, and regardless of whether I play point guard or shooting guard, the most important thing is just being on the court.

 I don't have anyone in mind that I want to call. I'm just going to go through the resumes and make some calls and find the right guy. One thing I know for sure is that I've got to get an experienced offensive line coach in here to take over and stay consistent in that area. But I don't have anyone in mind for it.

 With it being a school thing, I don't mind too much. Part of it is supposed to be more personal but with this I'm still a little nervous but because it's through school, I don't mind.

 I'm really disappointed that Mark has been talked into running that extra year, ... The thing I feel bad about for Mark is that he and I have been out there getting all these accolades, and now Mark's having to say, 'It looks like I'm coming back.'
