 We understand that this signing will open the door for scrutiny. I know and Terrell knows that much is expected of our players on and off the field. I have always believed in taking advantage of opportunity. Terrell is well known for what he can do. This may really work and work great for the Dallas Cowboys.

 I do want to make it clear that this decision is the result of a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time, during which Terrell had been warned repeatedly about the consequences of his actions. Clearly, they want him to be a big part of what they do. ... You better have some sort of answer for playing them or they can make you look pretty bad.

 He just kept the ball down all day. [He] got a lot of ground balls. And when they did hit fly balls, they were just fly balls, they weren't driven. He threw a great game, kept the ball down, [and] had a good tempo. [It] was fun to catch tonight.

 Each day, it just seems like there's one or two balls that I catch that I have no business catching those balls. And there's one or two balls that I should catch that I miss. It's kind of give and take. Each time I go out there, it feels more and more comfortable.

 These guys are busting their chops. They're really going after it. And when they're not taking ground balls, they're in the outfield playing balls off the bat. [On Monday], Luis Ordaz was soaked to the bone running after balls in the outfield. So, yeah, they're working at it. They know what that means. They know what Joe wants and expects. It's just helping them.

 Obviously, your No. 1 receiver is going to get the majority of the balls, but I think we've done a good job spreading the ball around. I think our tight ends have caught a number of balls. Our running backs have caught a number of balls.
