 Talent-wise, we could get back to that level. But character-wise, team-wise, do we have the moxie? Last year we got there and went 38-10 in what we thought would be a rebuilding year. That was reached due to the 'team' concept they believed in.

 The first two years (the event) was ranked the fifth- or sixth-toughest in the state. Last year we had 68 wrestlers who had been state qualifiers. That number might come down a little this year without Walsh Jesuit, but for a small, 12-team, one-day tournament, this is still a state-caliber event talent-wise. The talent pool will be awesome.

 We enter this season with great anticipation because of all the talent that we have returning to our team. Our players have worked really hard to prepare for this season. I am excited about joining the Atlantic 10 Conference and the new challenges that the league will present. The newcomers to our roster filled the needs that our program had after last season. Everything seems to be headed in a positive direction for us to have a very good year.

 California is a strong team that we will face again this season. They have good talent and we are excited to play them.

 This is a great team. Talent-wise and character-wise, it's probably one of the best teams we've had in the last eight years. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

 This season, we have a lot of talent and leadership in our upper classmen and a ton of talent in our newcomers. I am really excited about what this year has to hold.

The way this team came together, with me coming from Health Net, Chris coming from Navigators, and other guys pulling out from other teams, it's really made the talent pool more dispersed. And that's what makes racing fun. There's not going to be one team that dominates this year.

We went through stretches where we just felt that we couldn't lose. This team has more talent than that team, but we're not quite there yet.

 We are a small school, but only in numbers. We have as much pride as anyone else. We're just happy to be blessed with this much talent.
