 I was still haunted by my last minute adjustment before qualifying. I am still trying to get the brakes all dialed in. I still couldn't come into the braking zones with authority until half way through the race. I caught back up and it was just a matter of 10 to 20 feet every braking zone because the Performance Friction Brakes were working well once it was dialed in.

 I lost my brakes. My brakes went loose to the car, and I decided to pull into the bus terminal to prevent a bigger crash.

 We got all of it, I think. We're just having a question about the brakes. I think my brakes were dragging the whole time, but as far as the car, the car drove great and the engine felt good.

 This is one of those places where it's much harder than it looks. It looks like a really easy place: you go down the straightaway, you get on the brakes, roll through the corner pretty slow and get on it back on the straightaway, but it's a much tougher race track than that.

 I had fun, but I would have had more fun if we'd finished better. The cool box hit the master switch early in the race. I had to take the belts off to reach the switch, and I didn't want to do that at speed. Can you blame me? I spun and it took me awhile to get going again because I had to unbuckle and buckle the belts back up. It didn't happen to me again, but it happened to Roberto (Moreno) too. We would have been OK without that problem. I wasn't even going to lose a position with the spin. The car was understeering, but it was OK. The tires and brakes were good.

 People ask me, 'Is it better to marry your money type or the opposite? It's probably better to do the opposite. There's some conflict, but there's also some brakes and an accelerator, as opposed to having all brakes or all accelerator if you're the same.

 For the Fed to put its foot on the brakes to slow the economy down will hurt everyone in this country,

 I thought I lost the brakes altogether, so I took it to pit road. It never fully went away, but it obviously wasn't as bad as I thought. It's just frustrating. The only thing that [stinks] worse than a bad finish is a bad finish with a fast race car. It was easily a top-five car all day.

 It looks like we always have problems in the race. I had no brakes at all in the last few laps.. When you have made a mistake it is bad enough, but when it isn't your fault it is even worse.

 I was a little bit afraid that it was going to be a tough race, but somehow I was able to stay in the tow of Tracy. (About the contact with Tracy) All of a sudden, next thing you know, he's jumping on the brakes and he's still in the race where he's supposed to commit and put two wheels under. I was so surprised; I didn't even have time to brake before we made contact. I was right in his gearbox. It's a miracle we made it through. Quite a bumpy ride for the McDonald's car. All in all, a very good result for the team. They got the reward for their hard work.

 Carbon brakes offer the same stopping performance as steel brakes but with the added benefit of a significant weight savings, which ultimately increases fuel efficiency. Next-Generation 737s are already lighter than competing Airbus models. This structural efficiency is a fundamental reason why Next-Generation 737s fly farther, higher and with better fuel efficiency than the competition.
