 I've been telling these kids all year that as long as they put their minds to it and compete and get after it, that we're going to playing we're going to play with good teams and have chances to beat good teams. Howard's a good club, and New Mexico (Junior College) is a good club. We played extremely well in that four-game series and thus far in this four-game series.

 Obviously, we have a great rivalry with them. Historically, we enjoy playing each other. There's no love lost between the two of us. There is a great deal of respect for both clubs, for each other. But at the same time, we enjoy beating each other. It'll be an emotional series like it always is as well as a good series.

 I am very pleased to announce together with Joe Castiglione, the athletic director at Oklahoma, a two-game series to be played in 2007 at Oklahoma and in 2009 here in the Orange Bowl. Each of us has won a national title since 2000. This will be a great series played by two of college football's legendary teams. I'm pleased that the new 12-game schedule has allowed the playing of this game and several others which we have scheduled with Texas A&M and Ohio State.  There's probably eight or nine teams that are legitimate World Series contenders in the American League, and that's very unique because you probably haven't had that in over 20 years. There is great parity in the American League. There are probably three teams in each division that can potentially win the World Series.

 I couldn't have asked to play for any better of a coach, ... He put me in the right spots, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be playing college basketball. Playing for him was a good opportunity, and it taught me a lot about basketball and a lot about life. Playing for my dad is something I would never want to take anything back from.

 We are excited about our schedule. We play some great teams. Playing Texas A&M and Boston University at home is huge for us. We are playing seven teams that appeared in the NCAA tournament which creates a great schedule for us.

 This is great. I'm so excited. We're home and we're playing Mid-Con teams. Life couldn't be better. Softball is so fast-paced and intimate, and people are going to love this team.

 We couldn't do it they way we've done it in the truck series. We don't have the manpower for it. And the Cup teams have the expertise to do it better than we could.
