 I think with Jay Williams, he just needs more freedom. He needs to be able to play and not think. Last year I was thinking too much sometimes. When you?re thinking too much you can?t play free.

 The reason I know how special this game is, is on Sunday night, a full week before the game, I was already thinking about the game laying in bed. And I never do that. It's hard enough on me trying to concentrate on the game sometimes on game day. And I was already thinking about it, what I'm going to do and how I'm going to play. How it's going to feel when we win. That says it all.

 We came into this thinking it was going to be the hardest game of the year. Our line got after them up front and they opened up holes. And we stopped their big-play threats.

 They don't want to just sit there, line up and play football. They want to try to catch you off guard. They don't want to play smash-mouth football. They want to trick you. They want to catch you substituting. They want to make you think. They want it to be a thinking game instead of a football game.

 It's definitely important for a corner. I always play with freedom. I guess it's like when you know your girlfriend loves you, but it's always good to hear her tell you. I always play with freedom, but with that reassurance, it just allows me to play with more confidence and play my style of football.

 We're preparing for our game. We need to stick to our principles, which is just play smart, play hard and play together. I think that is what you saw when we played Milwaukee last weekend. We really put that game together and we have been able to do that this year. If you get into the conference and you are thinking too much about the other opponents, I think it will hurt you and go against you.

 Ambrosia is a terrific player. I really respect coach Judkins' way with her. She has a lot of freedom, and because she has that freedom, she's become the player that she is. She just plays the game. It comes to her. She feels it, and there's so much momentum that comes out of her play because of that.

 It's more of a thinking game. In Juniors, it's more of just skate hard, run, bang and shoot the puck. Here it's a lot more thinking, a lot more positional play. I'm just trying to get that part of my game good, and when that happens, I'll be good to go.

 This year he'll have the ability, the freedom, to change the play at the line to get himself out of trouble,

 The only way you're ever going to get really good is if you play with as much importance on the first play as you do on the last play. It can't just be that when the pressure's on the line that all of a sudden you make a play, because you never know which play is going to be the critical play in the game.

 Once I get to thinking and once I get to worrying about the game and trying to force the game to me, I don't play well, as you can see, ... Once I just go out there and play and let the game come to me and just be confident, I'm a better player.

 I was not really familiar with Vinci's game and she has a very unique way of playing, so I think it took me the first set to get used to the way she played and figure out how to play against her. I'm not thinking about No.1 at the moment. I'm only thinking about the next match.

 I can kind of go out there and play the game now, vs. over-thinking everything. The first couple years, it is tough to get rhythm, and you are thinking about a lot of different things. Now I have the offense down pat. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. I understand defenses.

 There's a very fine line between confidence and complacency. If you win the first game against a team, the worst thing you can do is fool yourself into thinking the second game will be easier. You don't want guys having that mind-set.
