I'm not surprised he's gezegde

 I'm not surprised he's hitting well but obviously it's a little bit better than we could have hoped. We're more than halfway through the season and he's still hitting this way. It's a tribute to him. Usually when guys get hot, pitchers will eventually find ways to get you out.

 Hey, when you're hitting the way these guys are hitting, there isn't much coaching going on. The hitting has been contagious -- it's spreading like wild fire. That helps our pitchers relax, too. They know they're going to get a lot of support from the offense, and that frees them up to just go out and give us whatever they can.

 Our hitting was off — we should have been hitting this girl the whole game. It took to the fourth or fifth inning until we started hitting. Early in the season Anna was hitting real well, but she got in a slump. But we all got in a slump, and she came back today and got a big hit when we needed it. We were hitting a lot better the first of the year.

 You are still going to have guys who hit 50 home runs. The difference is that guy who was hitting 25 is hitting 10 again. I know people say just as many pitchers were using steroids, but I can't see how they benefited from them as much as hitters.

 We look at it two ways, ... One, we're going to match up each of those guys with an outstanding pitcher of our own, so it's not like Houston is going to have a lot of fun hitting against our pitchers. And what we've done over and over again for a while now is the eight guys that have played, whoever they are, they are going to take their at-bats.

 You see guys now who are hitting .400 who, come September or July, they're going to be hitting .200. And there are guys who are notoriously slow starters who, as the season gets going, they'll play up to their career averages. We have guys who are not performing well right now who have good track records, and they'll be there when all is said and done.

 Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

 I thought hitting might be our weakness coming into the season, but the new guys in the lineup have surprised the heck out of us, and some of the older guys are starting to come around.

 Our pitchers were pretty efficient today. Both guys probably had their best starts of the season and we were lucky to get some timely hitting to push us over the top.

 It's just a tribute to his work ethic and his passion and love for hitting. He's a blue collar guy when it comes to hitting, there can never be enough swings for him.

 Weed came up with the big two-run double to tie it and that kind of gave us the spark there. Hitting is contagious. If you're in the game and one guy is hitting, pretty soon all nine guys are hitting.

 Our pitching was outstanding in the tournament, but our offense put a lot of strain on our pitchers. We haven't found our hitting stroke, and we're not hitting with confidence.

 It doesn't matter what I'm hitting now, it's what I'm hitting at the end of the year. I want to hit .340. Hitting .300 is hitting, but hitting .340 is killing it.

 C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well.  We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.
